Anonymous Tactics vs The Screw Krew
Introduction
Welcome to 2007. First match of the year was arranged by Riz, who fucked it up pretty much perfectly. I had foreseen the failure in the morning with my Ninja Magic, but I decided to fight along with The Boys against the windmills. Maps tonight were Shutdown 2 and 2mesa3, neither is our speciality but I guess they are okay... As long as you can whore for AVI material that is...
1st Round - Shutdown 2
I was ramp, Riz plank, Demonaz wanted to play HWG in FR and daimi was engy. Offy players were Samus, Megiz, Mythed and antipop... Wait a min!? That sounds like a SWUAD!? Indeed, swuad it was. Suomi Riz MOANED, yes, MOANED on plank as he wasn't able to stop the TsK rampage coordinated by Gr3mlin who gave god-like commands from The Above (spec). Defence didn't work at all... Demonaz would go 100 km to plank to cover and meanwhile someone ACCIDENTALY slipped from me and got the flag. This happened many times maybe. Demonaz's saw as not only rusty as hell, it seemed to fire blanks. Later we changed antipop to play defence and Riz to offy, it didn't help much, if at all. Offy was pretty shit, they only got three flags so I was pretty embarrassed for them too. My 25 mins of ramping wasn't all bad, I got one airshot *YES!!!!!*
2nd Round - 2mesa3
Demonaz was balcs, I was HWG, Riz demo and daimi engy. This round was much better but we screwed around in defence far too much. When spam was controlled, we were able to keep TsK offence at bay but then all hell broke loose when they started to get through. My spam was now just chain-priming and those nades didn't hurt anyone and thanks to advanced Half-Life engine, they didn't even affect the walls :( TsK saw the opportunity and grabbed it, as we lost the slim lead we had by one or two caps. 70 - 90 was the result on 2mesa3, which wasn't all THAT BAD but pretty crappy nevertheless.
Summary
First match of the year was FAILURE. Well, I think the role of the underdog suits us better and I'm tired of constant winning anyways. TsK deserved the win as they had better team tonight. Bye bye win streak; share the win, share the defeat...
